WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR SERVICE AND MY IN-HOUSE BILLER?
We understand that most agencies have their own in-house billers. What most owners/ administrators don't know is that our experience working with several Home Care agencies is that many billers do not correct/ appeal denied or rejected claims or even download EDI files on Vesta. That is where we come in and help stay on top of your aging A/R claims to maximize your revenue.
I ALREADY HAVE MY IN-HOUSE BILLER. DO YOU OFFER PACKAGES IF WE ALREADY HAVE A BILLER?
Absolutely. We offer the 'A/R Package' which helps us assist your in-house biller with claims that have been rejected for the past 120 days. We will send weekly and monthly revenue reports!
DOES THE CONTRACT TIE ME TO A TERM COMMITMENT?
That's a negative! Our contracts are month to month. You can cancel our services at any time.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED FROM US AFTER WE INITIATE SERVICES?
Once our contract is signed and initiated, we will need your credentials for all portals and clearing houses (TMHP, Superior, Molina, Driscoll, Payspan, Changehealthcare, etc.) to get EDI, 835, and authorization information, and also access to Vesta.
IS OUR CLIENT INFORMATION SAFE?
Of course! We are a HIPAA compliant company that requires a signed agreement to protect your agency and your client's information. Our contract demands that we give you a copy of our business insurance to give you a better piece of mind.
DO YOU WORK ON-SITE OR REMOTELY?
Most of the information we need is on the provider portals, so the majority of the work will be done remotely.
WHAT LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION WOULD YOU NEED WITH ANY INTERNAL STAFF MEMBERS?
We will need to communicate with field supervisors, EVV clerks, and administration for data from authorization, EVV visits, and member schedules.
HOW DO YOU PRICE YOUR SERVICES?
Pricing depends on revenue, but does not go above 1% of your agency's gross receipts. For example, if your monthly revenue averages $300,000, then the pricing falls under the .05% bracket and agency gets invoiced $1,500 a month. Agencies do have the option to pay Chartsbridge weekly, semimonthly, or monhly.
For example, if agency gets invoiced $1500, they can opt in to pay:
Weekly: $375
Semimonthly: $750
Monthly: $1,500
Late Payments do have a penalty of 5% of overall invoice charge after a one-month grace period.
